Captain Jac is an exciting and creative independent production company based in Carmarthenshire. Established in 2013 by Catrin Rowlands, an enthusiastic and passionate Producer/Director. By now, her husband, Trystan Dafydd Rowlands, an experienced editor has joined the company and both are intent on putting Gorslas on the map!
Captain Jac specialise in producing interesting and unique documentaries for television and radio as well as video content for corporate clients. With over 20 years experience of working in the broadcasting industry, both have worked on a variety of projects, from observational documentaries to wildlife series, from arts documentaries to children’s programmes. Some of the broadcasters include BBC, S4C, Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. More recently, Captain Jac secured a children’s travelogue series for S4C called Teulu mewn bacpac.
As well as their broadcasting credits, Catrin and Trystan have also produced video content for various companies and organisations such as Discover Carmarthenshire, Carmarthenshire Tourism Association, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Career Wales, Hywel Dda Health Board and are currently working on a series of promotional actions on behalf of the Tourism Destination Management Partnerships of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot to maximise the benefits from Wales’ 2017 Year of Legend tourist campaign.
